Chicago, Illinois (March 4, 2015) – Over 1,200 foodies mixed and mingled with more than 100 of Chicago’s most dynamic entertainers, chefs, and innovators at the 10th Annual For the Love of Chocolate Gala on Saturday, February 28. Upon entering the venue, guests were greeted with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a live band playing the popular tunes of The Beatles while groupies swooned, making the British Invasion theme complete. A groovy photo booth with a life-size reproduction of a Volkswagen van was also set up giving attendees a chance to create their... read more

In 2007, For the Love of Chocolate Scholarship Foundation was created to provide scholarships to dedicated students of the pastry arts. Since then, 113 people have been awarded over $470,000 in scholarships. Here are three of their stories.

In the lobby alone, newsies hawked headlines, menacing gangsters and their carefree molls lined the marble staircase, a Madame bedecked guests for an old-fashioned photo booth, and a down-on-her-luck moonshiner from Redmoon Theater made bootleg gin in her bathtub

For some guests, the evening began with a four-course dinner presented by Chef Michael... read more
