For the Love of Chocolate Foundation awards scholarships to students in the full-time programs taught by The French Pastry School of Kennedy-King College at City Colleges of Chicago, promoting commitment in pastry arts education for individuals looking to change careers, as well as individuals who have shown potential in the culinary field but have no formal pastry education.

Everyone knows high heels and stuffy shirts can make for a long night.  Recharge in our chocolate spa where you can receive chocolate massages, touch-ups on hair and make-up, and even a pair of flip-flops to relieve your aching feet.  Once you’re refreshed, you’ll be ready to party through the night!


The French Pastry School
The French Pastry School at the City Colleges of Chicago is a culinary institute dedicated solely to the art of pastry. The school was co-founded in 1995 by internationally acclaimed Master Chefs Jacquy Pfeiffer and Sebastien Canonne, M.O.F., who teach the school's six-month L'Art de la Patisserie program along with a roster of award-winning Chef Instructors. Offering the finest pastry training in the United States, the school produces the best-prepared chefs entering the profession. Darlena Artisan Chocolates

Each chocolate is individually handcrafted with the purest and freshest ingredients available in small batches daily to deliver an unsurpassable and pleasurable experience.
Only pure-variety Noble Grade Cocoa beans are used in the milk and dark couvertures. This is the highest grade classification which denotes cocoa bean origins that are of the rarest in availabilty and compose some of the finest flavour beans in the world; one type accounts for only 3% of the total cocoa bean production. All couverture chocolate is imported from Switzerland.
Take note that each couverture is like tasting a fine wine; it allows you to discover unique "tannins" within each chocolate that creates a complex flavor profile to linger on your palate and awaken your senses.

GT Fish & Oyster

Designed by 555 International, the 115-seat modern seafood eatery presents a seasonal menu comprised of both traditional and non-traditional fish-centric dishes. In addition to a rotating mix of East and West Coast oysters served with innovative accoutrements such as a cucumber cocktail sauce, or ponzu mignonette, chef Tentori features a wide-selection of shared plates ($9-$24) such as Squid Ink Gnocchi with Maine lobster, haricot verts, scented carrot broth; Braised Baby Octopus with roasted Roma tomato sauce and chili-infused polenta; Chorizo Stuffed Squid, Shrimp & Saffron scented Risotto; Foie Gras and Prawn Terrine with Szechuan peppercorns, apricot-shallot chutney; and Brandade Croquettes with orange-fennel salad, grainy mustard aioli.
