- COCOA CUISINE, a complete dinner menu prepared by Celebrity Chefs. More than 50 top chefs!
- COCOA VENETIAN CARNIVAL, the lively celebration of a Venetian Carnival! With Venetian masks and full costumes, Venetian gondoliers, and models sporting elaborate cotton candy wigs. Enjoy desserts and confections from the best pastry chefs and chocolatiers of Chicago and beyond.
- SWEET AS SIN, where you will experience Hades like you've never seen! With chocolate and culinary creations representing the Seven Deadly Sins, a chocolate riber of Styx, and concoctions of a full Chocolate Bar. Dance into the night to the sinfully sweet tunes of our devilish DJ!
- COCOA CANDY LAND where human candy canes, lollipops, jelly beans, and chocolate bars dance among the guests, cocoa cotton candy clouds drift over head, and Marie Antoinette serves chocolate cake!
- CONFECTIONATORY, PolyScience and SubZero/Wolf present the Confectiatory, where mad
scientists will manipulate chocolate and sugar to do things you never
thought possible. Taste how new technology like the Reverse Griddle can
change familiar confections into space age concoctions.
- CHOCOLATE SPA, Everyone knows high heels and stuffy shirts can make for a long night.
Recharge in our chocolate spa where you can receive chocolate
massages, touch-ups on hair and make-up, and even a pair of flip-flops
to relieve your aching feet. Once you’re refreshed, you’ll be ready to
party through the night!
- COCOA LOUNGE, In a big event like this, you may need a moment to take it all in.
Take a break from the dancing in the Cocoa Lounge, the best place in
the Gala to relax, listen to some calming tunes, and get ready to return
to the festivities.
- COCOA SUTRA, featuring the sweet concoctions of a full Chocolate Bar, desserts and confections from the best pastry chefs and chocolatiers of Chicago and beyond, live music, belly dancing, body painting, live sugar and chocolate demonstrations showing gravity defying edible sculptures!
Located in one of the largest buildings in the world, the Merchandise Mart, the gala was a feast for the senses, with exquisite cuisine, live music, dancing, celebrity chef tastings in the modern LuxeHome Kitchens.
