For The Love of Chocolate is the premier opportunity for Chicagoans to be naughty and nice this Valentine's Day, indulging in chocolate while giving to a great cause. Guests will enjoy a literal feast for the senses, as they will see, smell, touch, and taste chocolate like never before. In addition to sampling some of the best desserts in Chicago, the event will allow guests to:

Wear chocolate – Watch artists take chocolate to another realm, creating chocolate body art for those who dare to participate.

Admire chocolate – Models roam the catwalk, showing off intricate edible couture attire, created by local chocolatiers and designers. Elaborate and beautiful chocolate sculptures created by some of Chicago's top chocolate artists will tower on tables. And the dazzling chocolate wedding cake competition is sure to be a feast for the eyes...

Indulge in chocolate – Guests will have the opportunity to saunter through our opulent Cocoa Sutra Room — a luxurious and sensuous area designed for that very special Valentine. And throughout the South Shore Cultural Center's elegant ballrooms, guests will enjoy a flavorful explosion of chocolate as they sample treats from Chicago restaurants of every kind, whether it be the perfect truffle, chocolate martini, petit four, mousse or cake.

Dance to "choco-latte" – Annually hosting Chicago’s premier dancing event and kicking off their 2007 Salsa Convention, the Chicago International Salsa Congress will be intensifying the heat with demonstrations, instruction and a live band dedicated to making this evening the hottest in Chicago. Take your chocolate, toss in a little meringue and MAMBO! Anything is possible! For more information on the Salsa Congress, please visit www.chicagosalsacongress.com.
